Captain Marlena
Captain Russell (left) with Captain Todd aboard Serenity
Captain Marlena — Captain Marlena has over 30 years of sailing, sailing instruction, and cruising experience. She has sailed and taught sailing in Boston, along the Connecticut River coast, Chesapeake Bay, The Bahamas, and the east and west coasts of Florida. As an American Sailing Association Certified instructor, she can teach you the finer points of sailing and cruising. She draws on the years of cruising experience gained during a two-handed world circumnavigation, three transatlantic crossings, two trips throughout the Caribbean Islands, and numerous sails and deliveries up and down the East Coast of the United States. Give us a call and let Captain Marlena show you the ropes. Captain Russell — Captain Russell also brings years of sailing and cruising experience to Island Sailing. He and his wife completed a circumnavigation of the Atlantic Ocean, sailing as far north as England. He has cruised all along the East Coast of the United States from Florida to Maine. Captain Russell's enthusiasm for the art and skill of seamanship is evident the moment you step aboard. So why not experience an awesome sail with Captain Russell? Captain Todd — Captain Todd may be our youngster, but he has lots of experience for his few years. He is an American Sailing Association sailing instructor with many miles of coastal and offshore experience, including trips to and from the Virgin Islands. His youthful enthusiasm and dry sense of humor make him an excellent addition to our staff. Sail with Captain Todd for a great instructional opportunity and a few laughs.
